Month by month
May–June: The landscape is green, temperatures are pleasant, and lavender begins to bloom towards the end of June in some areas. This is one of the most sought-after periods, so venues and photographers should be booked well in advance.
July–August: Mid-summer means guaranteed heat and long evenings – but also temperatures that can be challenging midday, mistral winds in some areas, and popular venues and suppliers being fully booked months in advance. This is also peak season for prices.
September–early October: Our favorite for many couples. The warmth is still there, but milder. The light is deeper and more golden – priceless for photography. Fewer tourists, quieter venues, and often a little more flexibility from suppliers.
Winter months: Possible, and some couples consciously choose it for a more intimate, budget-friendly celebration – but be prepared for colder evenings and more unpredictable weather, especially for outdoor ceremonies.
